The Monte Carlo Steakhouse is an anachronism, a bona fide throwback to a bygone era–and indeed, the restaurant has been in business since 1970. Monte Carlo’s 20-ounce Ribeye Steak with a loaded baked potato. I didn't see sanitizing tables between customers.... It was great, jeanette our server was fantastic. As I understand it, this place is owned by a Greek family. I ordered a Greek salad and it was very, not Greek.

You can also enter directly through an entrance on the restaurant’s west side. The volume is turned way down on the restaurant’s televisions, but then you probably couldn’t hear them amidst the din of an eclectic crowd. Came here during Baloon Festival and man, was it crowded! Group of nine, so we were told it would be a 45 minute wait but we got seated in about 15 minutes.

Something has changed for the worse! We have dined hear regularly for a couple of years, and we always loved it. Excellent steaks, good salads, great shrimp, etc.

The restaurant has a dark ambiance inside, so beware because your eyes will need to get used to it. Greeted by friendly staff members and seated right away. We got there right after lunch time so there wasn't a wait at all.
